  Upon purchase, the store attendant should have changed the battery for a new one, but this wasn't done. For all I know, the watch had probably been ticking away for two years somewhere inside the store and when I bought it, the battery was almost flat.

  Warringah Mall Shopping Centre has a number of qualified watch repairers who could have done this job in 5 minutes, but Angus & Coote would rather follow a time wasting procedure and let the customer suffer, rather than take a common sense approach to provide a meaningful service.

  One week prior to Christmas, I bought a Roamer wrist watch from this store. It was given as a Christmas present but on the 28th of December, it stopped working.

  My advise for others who buy a watch from these people, is to insist that the battery be changed for a new one before handing over your purchase money, or choose a better wrist watch supplier, one who cares about their reputation and provides good after sales service.

  The staff very unprofessional having shown me my chain necklace half cleaned and not properly cleaned, i had to go in and sort this whole mess out myself and was not happy the fact i had to pay up and be shown a half cleaned necklace. Then they say its going in to be properly cleaned and will contact you friday, yet i had to call up 4 days later to see if it was in store and they said it was there all clean, yet i go in and i still seen some black marks on it. Definitely the wrong place to be with bad service all round. Avoid this place for getting jewelry cleaned at.

  I returned it to the store on the 31 December and was told that it had to be sent back to the manufacturer as it was still under warranty.
